An AR advertising campaign for Coca-Cola and the WWF from Appshaker

The digital creative agency Appshaker creates advertising campaigns for well-known companies such as Coca-Cola and the BBC; and they often use AR to that effect. Appshaker’s approach comes forward in the message they wish to convey with their campaigns. The manner in which that is accomplished is informed by the message itself. In the Coca-Cola and WWF campaign, Appshaker used a broadcast AR system where animations are added to live camera footage. Ultimately, the main goal is to offer immersive experiences. Aside from that, the agency links their campaigns to social media in order to generate brand awareness for Coca-Cola, as well as in the case of Arctic Home, promote awareness about climate change and polar bears’ disappearing natural habitat.
